By accessing and using File Mount ("the Software"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Software.

2. Description of Service

File Mount is an open-source tool that allows users to mount local folders and Google Drive with read-only permissions. The Software is provided as-is for personal and commercial use.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Software in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to modify, reverse engineer, or circumvent the read-only permissions
• Not use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Maintain the security of your Google Drive credentials and access tokens
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Software

4. Read-Only Access

The Software operates with read-only permissions to ensure file safety. The Software will not and cannot modify, delete, or write to your files. However, you acknowledge that you are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.

5. Google Drive Integration

When using Google Drive integration:

• You grant the Software read-only access to your Google Drive files
• You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings
• The Software uses Google OAuth for authentication
• You agree to Google's Terms of Service for their API usage
• Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device

6. Intellectual Property

The Software is open source and distributed under its specified license. You retain all rights to your files and data. The Software does not claim any ownership of your content. The File Mount name, logo, and associated branding are the property of the project maintainers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Software developers and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Software or violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Software may integrate with third-party services such as Google Drive. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.
