  • Google Drive Access Tokens: When you authenticate with Google Drive, OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device
  • File Metadata: Basic file information (names, sizes, types, modification dates) is accessed for display purposes
  • Configuration Settings: Your preferences and settings are stored locally

3. How We Use Information

All information processed by the Software is used solely for:

  • Displaying and accessing your local and cloud files
  • Authenticating with Google Drive on your behalf
  • Providing the core functionality of mounting and browsing files
  • Remembering your preferences and settings
  • Enabling seamless navigation between local and cloud storage

4. Data Storage and Transmission

All data remains on your local device. We do not:

  • Store your files on external servers
  • Upload your file contents anywhere
  • Share your data with third parties
  • Track your usage or collect analytics
  • Transmit file paths or metadata to external servers
  • Use cookies or tracking technologies

5. Google Drive Integration

When you connect Google Drive:

  • Authentication is handled directly between your device and Google's servers using OAuth 2.0
  • Access tokens are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us
  • We only request read-only permissions to your Google Drive
  • No file content is cached or stored permanently by the Software
  • You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
  • Google's Privacy Policy applies to their services and data handling

6. Read-Only Access

The Software operates with read-only permissions, meaning:

  • Your files cannot be modified, deleted, or created through the Software
  • No data can be written back to your storage
  • File contents are only read when you explicitly access them
  • The Software cannot make any changes to your file system or cloud storage

7. Third-Party Services

The Software integrates with Google Drive. When using this integration, you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We recommend reviewing:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

8. Security Measures

We implement security measures including:

  • Read-only access to prevent unauthorized modifications

  • OAuth 2.0 authentication for Google Drive (no password storage)
  • Secure token handling following industry best practices
  • No network communication except when authenticating with Google

However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and credentials.

9. Data Retention

The Software stores data locally on your device for as long as you have the Software installed. You can delete all stored data by:

  • Uninstalling the Software
  • Clearing the application data/cache
  • Manually deleting configuration files from your system

10. Children's Privacy

The Software does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Software without parental supervision and consent.

11. Open Source Nature

As an open-source project, you can review our code to verify our privacy practices. The complete source code is available on GitHub, allowing full transparency in how we handle data.

12. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access, modify, or delete any locally stored data at any time
  • Revoke Google Drive access through your Google Account settings
  • Choose which folders and drives to mount
  • Uninstall the Software and remove all associated data
  • Inspect the source code to understand data handling

13. Do Not Track

The Software does not track users or respond to Do Not Track signals, as we do not perform any tracking activities.

14. International Users

The Software processes all data locally on your device. If you use Google Drive integration, data handling by Google may be subject to international data transfer laws.

15. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
